The Add-On Practical Tester certification, developed by A4Q in cooperation with ISTQB®, takes the theory of Foundation Level and grounds it in concrete daily practice.
What's in scope:
- writing and reviewing test cases against real requirements
- exploratory testing techniques that hold up under audit
- bug reports that developers actually read
- working with test data and environments
It's a sensible second step after CTFL 4.0 for testers who want to sharpen day-to-day execution before moving into Advanced Level material. Exams are delivered through iSQI in the same formats as other ISTQB® exams.
